This guide shows how to install DCC sound into the Graham Farish Class 411 4CEP models, including:

Step 1 - Remove Body

Remove the body by starting at the driving cab door and working your way towards the back.

Step 2 - Fit Speaker

There is space at the non-driving end for a speaker. Unclip the piece of interior trim. Fit the speaker in place, making sure that the speaker does not extend beyond the footprint of the chassis.

Step 3 - Fit Optional Stayalive

Remove the screw in the plastic pillar, then unclip the interior seating section. Remove one of the seats to make space for the stayalive. Solder wires to the stayalive, and add heat shrink tubing over the capacitor legs.
